Strong south winds are possible on Monday ahead of a cold front. Winds of 20 – 25 mph may gust 30 – 40 mph, especially in central and northern Delta areas. Weak trees and limbs may fall with high-profile vehicles becoming unsteady in gusts.

Northern Mississippi–

Very windy today. It’ll be partly sunny in the morning, then clearing with a chance of showers and highs in the mid-70s. Tonight will be cooler and clear with lows near 50.

Central Mississippi–

It’ll be windy today, and becoming mostly sunny with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be in the upper 70s. Cooler and mostly clear tonight with lows in the lower 50s.

Southern Mississippi–

Windy and mostly cloudy with a slight chance of showers, thunderstorms, and highs in the lower 80s. Cooler and partly cloudy tonight with lows in the mid-50s.
