Northern Mississippi
Today will be partly sunny with a chance of rain and highs in the lower 50s. Tonight will be cloudy with a chance of rain. Lows will be in the mid-30s.
Central Mississippi
It will be mostly cloudy today with a chance of showers, thunderstorms, and highs near 60. Tonight will be cloudy with the possibility of showers and thunderstorms. Lows will be in the mid-40s.
Southern Mississippi
Today will be partly sunny with a chance of showers, thunderstorms, and highs in the lower 70s. Tonight will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Lows will be in the mid-50s.

We’re monitoring Winter Storm Fern, which is expected to start impacting north Mississippi on Friday and spread southward through Sunday. The Polar Vortex will bring freezing rain, sleet, and possibly snow to Mississippi. Impacts could include hazardous travel conditions, downed trees, and power outages.
