Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible through Thursday night, moving over the areas surrounding Hamburg, then east across Greenwood, Eupora, and Columbus. According to the National Weather Service in Jackson, damaging wind gusts will be the main threat.

Northern Mississippi

Showers and thunderstorms through tonight, but most likely during the afternoon with highs in the mid-60s. There will be patchy fog overnight with showers and thunderstorms continuing. Lows will be in the lower 50s.

Central Mississippi

Becoming partly sunny today with a chance of showers, thunderstorms, and highs in the upper 70s. Patchy fog will move in during the night with a haze after midnight. The chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue overnight with lows in the upper 50s.

Southern Mississippi

Becoming mostly sunny with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms today. Highs will be in the lower 80s. Becoming mostly cloudy tonight with a slight chance of showers and isolated thunderstorms. You can also expect hazy conditions and patchy fog after midnight with lows in the mid-60s.
