Severe weather is possible over portions of northwest Mississippi later tonight into tomorrow morning. The National Weather Service in Jackson says damaging winds and tornadoes are possible as the system moves through.
Northern Mississippi–
Slight chance of showers and thunderstorms with highs in the mid to upper 80s. More rain and thunderstorms during the night with lows in the mid-60s.
Central Mississippi–
Showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon with highs in the upper 80s. That’ll continue through this evening with lows in the upper 60s.
Southern Mississippi–
Showers and thunderstorms this afternoon with highs near 90. More of the same tonight with lows near 70.
