Your Mississippi Forecast for Tuesday, May 24

It’s going to be a rainy Tuesday across the Magnolia State today with heavy cloud coverage and showers expected for the majority of the day.

Northern Mississippi:

In the northern part of the state, some showers and thunderstorms can be seen in the morning and afternoon with temperatures in the low to mid-80s. As night falls, showers and thunderstorms will stay overhead into the next day with temperatures ranging in the upper 60s.

Central Mississippi:

Central Mississippi is expected to see the same kind of cloud coverage with some showers and thunderstorms in the morning and afternoon. Temperatures will sit in the mid-80s all day and drop to near 70 at night as the rain continues overnight.

Southern Mississippi:

The southern areas of Mississippi will see rain all morning and afternoon along with upper 80-degree temperatures. At night, showers and thunderstorms will continue as the temperature drops to lower 70s.
