Limited heat stress conditions are expected through Thursday across parts of northwest Mississippi, southeast Arkansas, and northeast Louisiana. Heat index values could reach to near 105 degrees from late morning through early evening each day.

Northern Mississippi–

Mostly sunny with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms through this afternoon. Highs will be in the lower 90s, with heat index readings from 104 to 109.
Mostly clear with lows in the lower 70s tonight.

Central Mississippi–

Mostly sunny with showers and thunderstorms popping up through tonight. Highs will be in the lower 90s, with heat index readings from 103 to 108. Lows tonight will be in the lower 70s.

Southern Mississippi–

Mostly sunny with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms through tonight. Highs will be in the upper 80s, with heat index readings from 101 to 106. Lows tonight will be in the lower 70s.
