When you wake up this morning, there might be areas of fog or frost, but that will all clear up as the day goes. Here’s your Mississippi weather forecast for Wednesday, December 27.

Northern Mississippi

The sunshine will be out with highs in the mid to upper 50s. Come nightfall, the temperature will drop, possibly to the upper 20s with widespread frost setting in early Thursday.

Central Mississippi

Central Mississippi will be about 5-10 degrees warmer than the northern part of the state with highs in the lower 60s and sunshine remaining throughout the day. Tonight, temperatures could drop into the 30s with frost possible after midnight.

Southern Mississippi

Residents of the Pine Belt and down to the Gulf Coast can expect sunshine throughout the day with highs in the lower 60s. Clouds will then set in as the sun goes down. Temperatures at night could be in the low to mid-30s.
