Southern Mississippi
Today will be sunny with highs in the lower to mid-50s. Tonight will be mostly clear, with lows in the upper 20s.
A dangerous cold is expected to move into Mississippi this weekend, along with gusty winds. Damage to exposed pipes and water main breaks are possible. Power outages in some areas will continue to make the current extreme cold more dangerous, and winds could complicate any remaining restoration efforts.
