Northern Mississippi
It will be sunny with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms during the day. Highs will be in the lower 90s, with heat index readings from 100 to 105. Wednesday night will be partly cloudy with possible showers and thunderstorms. Lows will be in the mid-70s.
Central Mississippi
It will be mostly sunny with showers and thunderstorms that may produce heavy rainfall during the day. Highs will be near 90, with the highest heat index readings from 101 to 106. Come nighttime, it will be mostly cloudy with more showers and thunderstorms that may produce heavy rainfall. Lows will be in the mid-70s.
Southern Mississippi
It will be a partly sunny day with showers and thunderstorms that could produce heavy rainfall. Highs will be in the upper 80s with the highest heat index readings from 100 to 102. Wednesday night will be mostly cloudy with showers, thunderstorms, and again the potential for heavy rainfall. Lows will be in the mid to upper 70s.
