The sun will try to peek out with a lingering chance of showers throughout the day. High temperatures will reach the mid 80s before lows cool into the lower 70s overnight. Rain chances will persist into the evening and overnight hours.
Central Mississippi
Partly sunny skies are expected, along with the possibility of scattered showers and thunderstorms throughout the day. Highs will climb into the upper 80s before lows settle into the lower 70s overnight. A few pop-up showers could linger after sunset.
South Mississippi
Mostly sunny conditions are expected, though a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms remains in the forecast. Afternoon highs will reach the lower 90s. Overnight lows will fall into the lower to mid 70s, with a continued chance of showers across the region.
