Today will be breezy and cooler, with a chance of showers. Here’s your statewide forecast from the National Weather Service.

Northern Mississippi

Today will be cloudy and cooler with a chance of showers and highs in the mid-50s. Tonight will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers. Lows will be in the lower to mid-40s.

Central Mississippi

Today will be breezy and cooler with mostly cloudy skies and a chance of showers. Highs will be in the upper 50s. Tonight will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and lows in the mid-40s.

Southern Mississippi

Today will be sunny, breezy, and cooler with a slight chance of showers. Highs will be in the lower to mid-60s. Tonight will be mostly cloudy with lows near 50.

Strong, gusty winds that could down trees, limbs, and power lines are forecast for western Mississippi on Wednesday morning. According to the National Weather Service, they’ll shift to central and east Mississippi during the afternoon.
