2nd Mississippi lawmaker resigns from the House

Representative William Andrews of Purvis has resigned from the Mississippi House of Representatives, effective today.

Andrews sent a letter of resignation to Governor Tate Reeves, Lt. Governor Delbert Hosemann, and Speaker of the House Philip Gunn on March 27th.

Andrews becomes the second representative to resign this year.   Representative Ramona Blackledge, of District 88, was elected in November and resigned in January.
