Three guards at the Yazoo County Regional Correctional Facility have been placed on administrative leave after being accused of having sexual contact with two female inmates.

According to the Yazoo County Sheriff’s Department investigator Terry Gann, the incidents took place on December 19th and 20th.

On December 19th, one guard allegedly had sexual contact with a female inmate.

The next day, December 20th, two different guards allegedly had sexual contact with the same female from the December 19th incident, as well as a different female inmate.

Yazoo County Sheriff Jacob Sheriff told WLBT that one of the female inmates informed officials the guard put his fingers “inside her private  area.”

One of the guards has confessed to his participation in one of the incidents, while the other two guards are denying any of the incidents ever happening.

If a judge finds probable cause, a warrant will be put out for the three guards’ arrests.
