The decision to borrow her dad’s pick up truck in 2011 and travel to Lexington, KY, to haul back a 900-pound letterpress would change Kristen Ley’s life. Today, Kristen is the founder of Thimblepress, which creates products that encourage celebration, connection, and all things confetti! Their signature product, Push-Pop Confetti, has been sold worldwide and listed as one of Oprah’s Favorite Things.
Dressing up as an artist at her kindergarten career day was the first step Kristen Ley took in the direction of being an artist as a profession. Her grandmothers introduced her to sewing and nurtured her love for hands-on projects.
