There were no winners during Monday night’s Powerball jackpot, which means the prize has now climbed to an estimated $1.73 billion.
The massive jackpot – which has a one-time cash payout option of $756.6 million – will be back up for grabs on Wednesday night. It’s the second-largest prize offered in Powerball history behind a $2.040 billion jackpot won in November 2022.
The winning numbers on Monday night were 16, 34, 46, 55, and 67 with a red Powerball number of 14. The Power Play Option was 3X.
According to officials, there is a 1 in 292.2 million chance of winning the grand prize. There has not been a Powerball winner since a Californian won $1.08 billion on July 29.
Five players did get lucky during Monday night’s drawing by matching all five white numbers. Four players – in California, Indiana, Oregon, and Virginia – won $1 million while a Florida player brought in a nice check of $2 million by selecting the Power Play option.
