The Mississippi Mud Monsters will not appear in the postseason in their inaugural season.
A 7-5 loss to the Washington Wild Things eliminated the Mud Monsters (42-46) from the eight-team Frontier League playoffs set to begin next month at the conclusion of the regular season. Sunday’s shortcoming on the scoreboard marked a three-game losing streak for Mississippi’s club.

Though the Mud Monsters will not have an extended 2025 campaign, fans still have three opportunities to head out to Trustmark Park to cheer on the teal. The team will play the Gateway Grizzlies at home on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday before closing things out on the road against the Windy City Thunderbolts.
