SuperTalk Mississippi Media (STMM) Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel Ashley Tullos Fortenberry has been elected to the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Radio Board of Directors, where she will represent broadcasters in Mississippi and Louisiana.
Fortenberry was elected to serve District 8 on the board. Her two-year term began this month.
The NAB Radio Board helps shape the organization’s policy and advocacy efforts on behalf of radio broadcasters across the country, tackling issues ranging from ownership regulations to digital innovation and local media operations.
STMM President and CEO Kim Dillon said Fortenberry’s election reflects both her leadership and commitment to the broadcasting industry.
“Ashley’s election to the NAB Radio Board of Directors is a significant win for our industry and a well-deserved honor for someone who is deeply committed to broadcasting,” Dillon said. “She brings the legal expertise, industry knowledge, and commitment that this moment calls for. The industry is navigating one of the most important periods in its history, and SuperTalk Mississippi Media is proud to have her representing Mississippi and Louisiana on the national stage.”
Fortenberry said she is grateful for the opportunity to represent broadcasters throughout the two-state district.
“I’m truly honored to serve on the NAB Radio Board and grateful to the broadcasters of District 8 for this opportunity,” Fortenberry said. “Local broadcasting is one of the most powerful tools we have for keeping communities informed and connected, and that’s why this work matters so much to me. I look forward to working alongside NAB members from across the country to advocate for radio’s future – and to ensure that the broadcasters of Mississippi and Louisiana have a strong voice in that work.”
She joins radio leaders from across the country in helping guide the NAB’s efforts to advocate for local broadcasters and strengthen the future of the industry.
