A Texas woman accused of putting razor blades inside loaves of bread at a pair of Mississippi Gulf Coast Walmart stores has fessed up to her crimes.
Camille Benson, 33, pled guilty on June 26 to a federal charge of tampering with consumer goods. In December 2025, she reportedly put the sharp objects in bread at Walmart locations on CT Switzer Drive and Pass Road.
Authorities began investigating after receiving reports of the razor blades from patrons. After reviewing surveillance footage from both Walmart stores, Benson emerged as a suspect. She was promptly arrested.
The defendant faces up to 10 years in prison and $250,000 in fines. She is set to stand trial in October.
