A third arrest has been made in connection with the shooting death of a Humphreys County High School football player.
Belzoni policed announced Tuesday that J’Quandarius Winn was arrested during a traffic stop. Winn had an active arrest warrant for his alleged involvement in the killing of 16-year-old JaKamryn Price, a junior defensive end and tight end on the Cowboys football team.
The other two suspects behind bars in this case are Jaronski Watson and Jayden Holmes. Authorities announced the arrests of the two individuals in August.

Price was killed Aug. 21 on 3rd Street shortly after a football scrimmage wrapped up.
Witnesses at the stadium told authorities that they heard two gunshots. Law enforcement officials do not believe the deceased was the intended target. Humphreys County High School canceled its home opener against Yazoo City on Aug. 28 as a result of the shooting but plans to play this Friday at South Delta High School.
The investigation into the case remains active. More arrests could follow, officials said.
