A New Drug Has Made Its Way To Mississippi

According to the Madison County Sheriff, Randy Tucker, a new drug in the form of candy is circulating through his county.

Sheriff Tucker took to a Facebook post to warn parents of the dangers of the lethal drug.

His post says that the Madison County Narcotics Department agents have begun to see and work cases that involve a synthetic Xanax substance.

This substance has appeared in the form of the old Pez type candy and is approximately 2 1/2 times stronger than traditional Xanax and can be lethal if mixed with alcohol.

He also states that if you come in contact with the drug or are suspicious to please call the Madison County Sheriffs Dept. Narcotics Unit – 601-859-2345.
