A vehicle and a school bus were involved in a crash in Ridgeland on Monday afternoon.
Authorities reported that the incident happened on Lake Harbour Drive in front of The Mark Apartments. The driver of the vehicle was entrapped in the car and had to be extricated by local firefighters. Police had to block traffic in the area momentarily to remove the driver from the automobile.
The unidentified driver was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, two children were on the school bus. The pupils and the bus driver are not reported to have sustained any injuries.
Law enforcement officials did not disclose what caused the collision.
