Senator Thad Cochran lies in state at the Mississippi State Capitol following a ceremony today honoring his life and legacy.
Cochran, who served Mississippi from 1972 to 2018, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2019, in Oxford, MS.
A funeral service for Senator Cochran will be held Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Northminster Baptist Church (3955 Ridgewood Rd., Jackson, MS 39211).
