How to watch Ole Miss, Mississippi State women’s teams in NCAA Tournament first round

As March Madness heats up, both the Ole Miss and Mississippi State women’s basketball teams will have an opportunity to showcase their talents on the main stage of the NCAA Tournament in the Round of 64 games Friday.

Ole Miss vs. Gonzaga

The No. 8 seed Lady Rebels (23-8, 11-5 SEC) have made back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances under head coach Yolett McPhee-McCuin’s leadership for the first time since their 11-year postseason run from 1982-1992. Ole Miss will be taking on No. 9 seed Gonzaga (28-4, 17-1 West Coast) in the Seattle Region 4.

Mississippi State vs. Creighton

The No. 11 seed Lady Bulldogs’ (21-10, 9-7 SEC) run in the NCAA Tournament began Wednesday night with a dominant 70-56 victory over Illinois in a First Four match under the guidance of first-year head coach Sam Purcell. Now, Mississippi State will take on No. 6 seed Creighton (22-8, 15-5 Big East) in the Greenville Region 1.

When: Friday, March 17 at 5 p.m. CT

Where: Joyce Center South Bend, Ind.

TV: ESPN
