Last night, the candidates in the race for Lt. Governor met for a debate as they attempt to earn your vote on November 5th.
Republican Delbert Hosemann and Democrat Jay Hughes fielded questions regarding teacher pay, education, committee assignments in the Senate, the minimum wage in Mississippi, infrastructure, healthcare and the state flag.
Hosemann has served as Mississippi’s Secretary of State since 2008, and Hughes has represented Lafayette County in the MS House of Representatives since 2016.
