Mississippi’s first National Guardsman to be named the Army National Guard NCO of the Year and Soldier of the Year

Twenty-two of the Army’s top Soldiers and Noncommissioned Officers (NCO) competed at locations across the world during the 19th annual U.S. Army 2020 Best Warrior Competition. Staff Sergeant Mitchell Scofield of the Mississippi National Guard came out on top, named the Army National Guard NCO of the Year and Soldier of the Year!
