After technical problems at the Mississippi State Department of Health delayed the release of today’s numbers, the department is now reporting 209 new cases of COVID-19.

The MSDH is reporting 116 active outbreaks in Mississippi long-term care facilities. An outbreak is defined as “one or more cases among staff or residents”.
