MSDH confirms 516 new COVID-19 cases, 0 deaths

The Mississippi State Department of Health is reporting 516 new cases of COVID-19. 

Today’s report brings the state’s total number of cases up to 127,205. Zero additional deaths were included in the latest MSDH report. To date, 3,443 Mississippians have passed away from the virus. 

Over the weekend, the state saw higher totals including 1,031 new cases on Saturday and 804 on Sunday.

Hospital data hasn’t been updated since Friday when overall hospitalizations saw a slight increase. 

So far, estimated recoveries have not yet been updated for the week. 

Currently, the following 16 Mississippi counties remain under a mask mandate and stricter social distancing guidelines.

Benton, Carroll, Chickasaw, Claiborne, DeSoto, Forrest, Harrison, Itawamba, Jackson, Jones, Lamar, Leake, Lee, Madison, Marshall & Neshoba

The mandate is set to expire on November 11th.
