MSDH confirms 933 new COVID-19 cases, 37 deaths

The Mississippi State Department of Health is reporting 933 new cases of COVID-19. 

Today’s report brings the state’s total number of cases up to 128,138. With the confirmation *37 additional deaths — following 0 on Monday — 3,480 Mississippians have now passed away from the virus. 

*MSDH: 12 COVID-19 related deaths occurred between October 23 and November 3, identified from death certificate reports.

In the latest data from the MSDH, overall hospitalizations remained steady at 618. 

As of Monday, an estimated 111,430 Mississippians have recovered from COVID-19. 

Tomorrow, the mask mandate that currently encompasses the following 16 Mississippi counties is set to expire unless it is extended by Governor Tate Reeves. 

Benton, Carroll, Chickasaw, Claiborne, DeSoto, Forrest, Harrison, Itawamba, Jackson, Jones, Lamar, Leake, Lee, Madison, Marshall & Neshoba
