MSDH reports 353 new COVID-19 cases, 20 additional deaths

The Mississippi State Department of Health is reporting 353 new cases of COVID-19. 

Today’s report brings the total number of cases in Mississippi up to 20,152. 915 Mississippians have passed away from the virus following this morning’s confirmation of 20 additional deaths. 

The MSDH is reporting 80 active outbreaks in Mississippi long-term care facilities. 

Hospitalizations saw a slight decline, along with the number of ICU beds and ventilators in use. 

As of Monday, the MSDH is reporting that 15,323 Mississippians have recovered from COVID-19.
