MSDH reports 374 new COVID-19 cases, 21 additional deaths

The Mississippi State Department of Health is reporting 374 new cases of COVID-19. 

Today’s report brings Mississippi’s total number of cases up to 18,483. 868 Mississippians have passed away due to the virus following this morning’s confirmation of 21 additional deaths. 

341 cases were reported on Tuesday with 10 deaths. *Due to technical difficulties, the MSDH reported these cases later in the day. 

The MSDH is reporting 107 active outbreaks in Mississippi long-term care facilities. – For a list of facilities with an outbreak, click here. 

As of Monday, 13,356 Mississippians have recovered from COVID-19. 

To date, 223,195 state residents have been tested (9,442 antibody tests).
