MSDH reports 874 new COVID-19 cases, 24 additional deaths

The Mississippi State Department of Health is reporting 874 new cases of COVID-19. 

Today’s report — which is 20 cases less than Thursday’s report — brings Mississippi’s total number of cases up to 76,323. With the confirmation of 24 additional deaths, 2,214 Mississippians have passed away from the virus. 

As of Thursday’s report, overall hospitalizations were continuing on a downward trend. 

As of Monday, the MSDH is able to estimate that 56,577 Mississippians have recovered from COVID-19.
