According to WLBT, the suspect in the shooting that left Vicksburg police officer Eddie Colbert and another victim in critical condition, 29-year-old Jaqwon Allen, has turned himself in to the Jackson Police Department.

A Vicksburg police officer is in critical condition after he was shot while off-duty early Saturday morning in the capital city.
The Vicksburg Police Department has identified the officer, who remains in critical condition at UMMC, as Investigator Eddie Colbert.
While the VPD or Jackson Police Department have not released specific details surrounding the shooting, WAPT is reporting that Colbert was shot once in the face.
“We ask that all members of the public join us in our prayers for Investigator Colbert and his family in this most difficult time,” the VPD said in a news release.
WAPT stated that a second victim, Eric Williams, was also shot and remains in critical condition.
