Schools Against Vaping

Another national scourge, the Vaping Epidemic, threatens the health of our students. The CDC, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), state and local health departments, and other clinical and public health partners have investigated the national outbreak of e-cigarette, or vaping, product use-associated lung injury. E-cigarette, or vaping, products, containing nicotine or THC, should never be used by youths, young adults, or women who are pregnant.

Schools Against Vaping is trying to turn the tide in schools with education and prevention resources. Michael Marks is a former Mississippi Teacher of the Year, National Milken Educator, and America’s Outstanding Teacher of the Performing Arts, currently serving as National Executive Director of Schools Against Vaping.

Michael joined Rebecca Turner on Good Things to talk vaping prevention and more!
