Two additional people have been sentenced following the 2020 murder of Lt. Troy Morris of the Mississippi Highway Patrol.

Earlier this week, Damion Whittley was sentenced to 40 years behind bars after he pleaded guilty to depraved heart murder. Now, it’s been revealed that two others played roles in the killing of Morris, who was off-duty at the time.

Treyon Washington and CDarrius Norman have both pleaded guilty to accessory after the fact. Washington was sentenced to 20 years with 15 suspended, while Norman was sentenced to 20 years with 10 suspended.

Morris, of Natchez, had served 27 years with MHP prior to his death.
