Vicksburg teen threatens school with bomb

On Tuesday morning, a Vicksburg teen was arrested for making a bomb threat toward Porter’s Chapel Academy.

The 16-year-old allegedly made the threat via social media on Monday night.

Then, on Tuesday morning, the officers were able to detain the teen as they arrived to school.

The Vicksburg Police Department was not able to locate any kind of explosives on campus after a thorough search of the school.

The teen is currently in custody at the Warren County Juvenile Detention Center.
