What to know if you’re returning to school

With schools allowing some students to return to in-person classes this week, remember to keep in mind the changes Governor Tate Reeves has made to ensure safety across school districts.

Just last week the Governor extended the Safe Return order and the statewide mask mandate another two weeks until Monday, August 31st at 8:00 AM.

Along with this change, Governor Reeves also placed a limitation on crowd sizes for extra circular activities going on in the state in grades K-12.

For indoor and outdoor events, all who attend have to wear face-covering at all times, including going to and from their seat, in restrooms, and in concession sales areas and always remember to social distance as much as possible.
