There should be a good bit of sunshine to start the weekend off. Here’s your statewide forecast from the National Weather Service.
Northern Mississippi
There will be some patchy fog in the morning. Afterward, the sun should heat everything up well into the 90s. Highs will be in the mid to upper 90s before lows drop into the mid 60s come at night. There will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the evening and at night.
Central Mississippi
It will be sunny throughout the day with some patchy fog in the morning. Highs will be in the lower 90s before lows drop into the lower 70s at night. There will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the evening and at night.
Southern Mississippi
The sun will get rid of some morning-time fog before highs get into the mid 90s. Lows come nighttime will hover around 70 degrees. There’s not much of a chance of rain at this point.
