Sunny skies will be seen across the majority of Mississippi today, with scattered showers forecast in the southern portions of the state.

Northern Mississippi

Sun and hazy conditions will be seen throughout the northern portion of Mississippi today with temperatures expected to sit in the mid-70s. Mostly clear skies and a chance of sprinkles will span across the upper parts of the state in the evening before night falls. After that, mostly cloudy skies will go into the night as temperatures drop to the lower 50s. A chance of showers will increase after midnight.

Central Mississippi

Weather in central Mississippi is expected to be sunny and hazy in some areas throughout the day with temperatures likely to stay in the mid to upper 70s. When the sun sets, temperatures will drop to the lower 50s with mostly clear skies and a chance of sprinkles to continue throughout the evening. The chance of showers and patchy fog are expected will rise after midnight.

Southern Mississippi

Southern Mississippi will see sunny skies today as temperatures are anticipated to sit in the mid to upper 70s. As the sun sets, mostly clear skies and hazy conditions will continue as temperatures drop back down to the lower 50s overnight. Patchy fog is expected to be seen after midnight.
