On Wednesday morning, Mayor Toby Barker and city officials were joined by representatives from the Hattiesburg Police Department, Hattiesburg Fire Department, the admissions office at The University of Southern Mississippi and many leaders from businesses and faith-based organizations to greet incoming Hattiesburg High School students on their first day of school.
