The college football season in Mississippi is just 50 days away, with Mississippi State and Ole Miss set to take on SEC Media Days this coming week.

From July 17-20, ambassadors from all 14 SEC programs will be speaking at the annual conference being held in Nashville, Tenn.

Mississippi State will take center stage Tuesday afternoon at 2:25 p.m. and will be represented by senior defensive tackle Jaden Crumedy, senior quarterback Will Rogers, senior running back Jo’quavious Marks, and first-year head coach Zach Arnett.

During the 2022 campaign, Crumedy mounted 15 tackles and two sacks. Marks had 582 yards on the ground complemented by nine touchdowns. Roger ended the season with the most passing touchdowns in the conference (35) and an SEC second-best 3,974 yards in the air.

For the second consecutive year, a quarterback will not be representing Ole Miss during this year’s media days. Instead, senior defensive end Cedric Johnson, sophomore running back Quinshon Judkins, senior defensive back Deantre Prince, and head coach Lane Kiffin will be speaking Thursday morning at 9:05 a.m.

Last season, Johnson compiled 32 tackles and four sacks. Judkins, in his first season in Oxford, amassed 1,567 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns on the way to being named Freshman All-American. Prince compiled 39 tackles and one interception.

For more coverage from SEC Media Days, SportsTalk Mississippi will be broadcasting live from Nashville Monday through Thursday.
